KAIAC Fall Seasons Crown Champions-
Volleyball, Cross-Country & Tennis

VOLLEYBALL
In Division I, the Lady Falcons of SAHS returned this year to dominance
in KAIAC girls' volleyball, but the DAHS Lady Warriors and TCIS Lady Dragons challenged them all year. SAHS took the conference and tournament titles with DAHS taking 2nd and TCIS taking 3rd during both the regular season and in the tournament. The SFS Crusaders boys' volleyball team was again the class of the Division I taking the regular season and tournament titles. The Cougars of OAHS did provide some challenge to the Crusaders throughout the season. In Division II, the girls' volleyball competition was extremely close from first- to fourth-place with the ICS-Pytk. Lady Conquerors and ICS-Ujb. Lady Eagles winding up tied for first during the regular season. ICS-U would eventually take the tournament title. The GSIS Knights and the ICS-Ujb. Eagles dominated boys' volleyball in Division II with both teams tying for the regular season. The Knights took the KAIAC tournament title by beating the Eagles! SFS and GSIS and their staffs are to be congratulated and thanked for once again hosting excellent tournaments.

CROSS-COUNTRY
SAHS boys' and girls' teams were undefeated and took both cross-country regular season champioships with identical 18-0 records! The SFS boys'
team manage some revenge by defeating the Falcons for the KAIAC tournament championship. The SAHS Lady Falcons took the girls' tournament. The regular season was an exciting one with SFS, ICS-Ujb., and OAHS challenging SAHS for the boys' and girls' regular season titles right up to the final meets. ICS-Ujb. and, specifically Mr. Brian Olling, are to be congratulated and thanked for once again hosting an excellent tournament.

TENNIS
SFS Crusaders took the boys' tennis regular season and tournament championship titles with an undefeated season. The girls' regular season championship went to the Lady Tigers of SIS, while the tournament was won by the Lady Falcons of SAHS. YISS and its staff are to be congratulated and thanked for hosting an excellent tournament.

KAIAC Basketball Begins
The Seoul American High School Lady Falcons' girls' basketball team is seeking its unprecedented 15th consecutive KAIAC regular season and tournament championship titles. The Lady Falcons have begun the 2009-2010 season undefeated and look very strong. The SAHS Falcons boys' basketball team is going for its eleventh straight season and tournament titles. The SFS Crusaders have already beaten the Falcons in an early season shoot-out. Could this be the year that SAHS is bumped from the top? It looks like the DAHS Warriors and SFS Crusaders have the best shot to unseat them. In Division II, the season and tournament boys' and girls' titles look wide open with ICS-Ujb., CCS, ICS-Pytk., and GSIS battling it out for supremacy.

Forensics Season Underway
TCIS and KIS hosted forensics competitions this fall. The TCIS competition on October 16-17 saw over 100 students asnd eight schools participate including SFS, SIS, YISS, KIS, CCS, DAHS, SAHS, and TCIS. The KIS competition was held on November 13-14 with the debate beginning on Friday and both debate and individual events on Saturday. TCIS and KIS and their staffs are to be congratulated and thanked for hosting excellent competitions. A special thank you to all of the volunteer judges at both competitions.
