SEOUL FOREIGN & SEOUL AMERICAN FINISH STRONG
AS DIVISION I CONFERENCE & TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS!
The high flying 2008 SFS Crusader Boys' Soccer team totally dominated the KAIAC conference with a perfect 17-0 regular season and tournament record. In doing so, they captured their fifth straight conference and tournament titles. The 2008 SFS squad could certainly be considered among the "best ever" in conference history. The Crusaders were led by the record breaking performance of senior, Remco Rademaker, who scored a single season record 61 goals and a career conference and Asian record 183 goals. The SAHS Lady Falcons had almost as dominating a season with a 16-0-1 regular season and tournament record. The only blemish was a 0-0 tie in the regular season to the Lady Crusaders of SFS.

SFS & YISS EXCEL IN
POST-SEASON PLAY
--APAC & FAR EAST
From April 17-19, the SFS brought one of their strongest boys' soccer teams ever to the Asian Pacific Activities Conference (APAC) Tournament held at the Canadian Academy in Kobe, Japan. SFS moved quickly through preliminary play to face the Falcons of Canadian Academy. The Falcons proved a tough test, but the Crusaders took the championship in "golden goal" overtime play. During the same three days in Seoul, the Lady Crusaders, won the APAC Championship in a shoot-out over the highly favored Lady Eagles of Shanghai American School. Congratulations to SFS and their athletes, coaches, and fans. We are proud of you as KAIAC again demonstrated its strength in interscholastic athletics!
From May 19-21, several KAIAC Division I and II schools competed in the DoDDS Far East "Class A," Boys' Soccer Tournament held at McPerry, Iwakuni, Japan. The Guardians of Yongsan International School of Seoul after finishing a strong second in KAIAC brought a highly toted team to the tournament. The Guardians really took the tournament by storm and walked off with the Far East Class "A" Boys' Soccer championship. This was their second Far East Championship of the year as they also took the Class "A" Boys' Basketball title as well. Congratulations to YISS and their athletes, coaches, and fans. We are proud of you as KAIAC again demonstrated its strength in interscholastic athletics!
